Ori is an award-winning disabled Two-Spirit Poet, Writer, Photographer, and Artist. Ori is Muisca, Zapotec, and SWANA Jewish with roots in Colombia, Mexico, Egypt, and the Levant and a survivor of MMIWG2S/MMIP and The Indian Child Adoption Project, a residual of the 60’s Scoop. A transracial adoptee from age 6, Ori has spent his life dedicated to reunification, language revival and reclamation, as well as Indigenous and disability rights and justice.
